A list of lists you NEED to keep in your planner

Whatever you’ve been up to lately, I hope your school year is off to a great start! My first week has been ridiculously busy so I’m coming at you with a short and sweet post this week on the blog. It’s literally just a list of 13 lists that I strongly recommend keeping in your planner, bullet journal, or catch-all notebook. Some of them even come with links to past posts on the blog if you’re interested in learning more about how I handle these important items in my life.

My planner is my LIFE and I'm always thinking of new lists and charts to keep in it. Here are some of my favorite lists I keep in my planner. | A LIST OF LISTS YOU NEED IN YOUR PLANNER | HONEYBEE JOYOUS

{Leave me a comment at the bottom of this post telling me about your most important list!}

And of course, don’t forget the most important one of all:

  • To do list

{Did I miss a list you swear by? Want to know more about how I organize any of these lists? Leave me a comment down below and tell me!}

    I love your list! I always have my planner with my but never thought to have all of these in there.

  • I keep lists of things I’m thankful for and books to read too! Also movies to watch.

    I LIVE for my planner!!

  • I love making lists and checking things off them! I agree with all of your lists, they are so important!

    • Definitely agree with that! There’s something so satisfying about crossing something off a list.

  • Ha, a list of lists! It’s true though because it’s much better to have your goals written out!

    • Totally agree! I never feel like I can accomplish my goals unless I write them out in pen and paper.

  • I have a million to do lists everywhere! I need to just keep 1!

    OMG a list of lists! I freaking love this!

  • I have about 60000 lists!!! They never seem to end

  • YES! I love making lists but horrible at organizing them!

  • I need to start writing some of these lists in my planner! Right now the only lists I have are class assignments and for blogging ideas!

    I can’t even tell you how many lists I have. Too many! haha. But I love lists because they keep me from forgetting to do things.

    • Me too! I won’t remember something if I don’t write it down so I write EVERYTHING down

  • Why have just one to do list when you can have so many? I love your important lists. We can’t forget about the grocery list. 😉

  • I love the idea of having a list of people you want to catch up with, habits I want to start, and even my morning routine. I always have ideas in my head that I forget about after like 5 minutes haha

    • I’m so glad you enjoyed! I always have to write literally everything down or else I will definitely forget.

  • Those are all such great ideas! I love writing lists but I always forget to start them and then I get ahead of myself.

    • That’s a really great point! It’s easy to get so caught up in list-making that you start using them to procrastinate on your actual work, which I am totally guilty of!

  • My reading list is super important too! Great list of lists! 🙂

    My to do list happens every day but I’m starting to think I need to keep better track of my grocery list by putting it in my planner as well! I always have it with me but I don’t always have the notepad I normally write my list on, so I never end up getting the right stuff at the store

    • Having my grocery list in my planner is honestly such an important way I save money grocery shopping! If I go in without a list, I’m a mess and spend a whole bunch of money on stuff I don’t need and forget to get the stuff I do need.
