Blogmas Day 22: Friday Favs No. 3

It’s time for yet another installment of Friday Favs! (You can read No. 1 here and No. 2 here.) I’m actually writing this post on Saturday instead of Friday, but that’s because I wanted to share some stuff that happened on Friday as part of Friday Favs. Keep reading to find out more about my fav new movie, one of my favorite bands, and my fav YouTube video of the week!

Movie

If you know me, my favorite new movie is probably obvious. The Last Jedi was so freaking amazing! Don’t worry, I’m not going to share any spoilers but WOW that movie was so good! I absolutely love Star Wars and so does my boyfriend, so we went to see it for the very first showing we could — on Thursday night. Brendan and I went with our friends Josh and Isabel. We all had an absolute blast and I was so glad my very first movie premiere was such a good movie. If you’re a Star Wars fan, definitely see this movie as soon as you can!

Music

Brendan and I have had a jam packed couple of days! We saw Star Wars on Thursday night and then on Friday night, we drove up to Richmond to see a band we both love — Highly Suspect. They were one of the artists I listened to most in 2017, according to Spotify, and it was absolutely amazing to see them live.

My pictures are really bad quality, but it was definitely a high quality night.

I learned the hard way that I’m too claustrophobic to stand in the floor area, but it ended up being okay because the venue we were at had balcony seating so I went up to the very top and I could see everything all at once and not be pushed and shoved by a bunch of people. I’d definitely see Highly Suspect again and I can’t wait to keep going to concerts with Brendan — this was our third one together so far!

YouTube

I already mentioned this YouTube channel in my post about my favorite YouTubers, but Bright Sun Films is one of my all time favs. Jake makes these awesome videos about places and concepts that have been abandoned and he loves Disney World and theme park history as much as I do. I’ve gotten Brendan and my sister Abby hip to his videos and now we all get super excited when a new one comes out!

The latest video was super exciting and he talks about some of the attractions and concepts that were planned for Epcot (probably my favorite Disney park) that just never came to fruition. If you’re at all interested in theme park history, definitely give this video a watch — for sure one of my favs!
