If you think your lack of organization or productivity is getting in the way of you living a joyous life, you’re in the right place. I’m Emily and I’m a college student with a passion for study tips, productivity advice, organization hacks, and more. I’m a future teacher, college journalist, and aspiring productivity guru. Stick around and let’s be friends! I read and respond to every comment on every post.
Hey there! My name is Emily Chaumont and I’m excited to share this blog with you. I’m a senior at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I’m double majoring in English and Gender, Sexuality, Women’s Studies for my undergrad and will be getting my Masters in Elementary Education in 2019. On campus I’m an RA in a freshman dorm and I’m the Managing Editor of our campus newspaper, The Flat Hat, where I cover news, sports, and more. Off campus, I have a job working in childcare and I love to spend my free time making art and enjoying the company of my friends.
I’ve always loved creating, writing, and productivity and I started this blog to be a designated space for these hobbies and to keep me focused on positivity and all of the wonderful things in life I am so blessed to enjoy.
The name “Honeybee Joyous” is two things to me:
- A combination of two of the happiest words I can think of.
- A gentle command: “Honey, be joyous” reminding me to stay positive.
For me, Honeybee Joyous is a place where I can delight in my creative side and build a community. I hope it can be the same for you: a place to indulge in the things that make you happy and connect with like-minded people. You can expect to see a wide range of posts: organizing, creativity, study tips, DIYs, lifestyle, etc.
My blog is still small and growing, so it’s easy to get in touch through whatever channel you prefer.
I’d love to hear from you!
